Liquitex Professional Flow-Aid Additive is a concentrated flow enhancer designed to reduce surface tension and improve the fluidity, absorption, and blending of acrylic paint, inks, and dyes. This additive is ideal for artists working on detailed washes, staining effects, and large-area blending on both absorbent and non-absorbent surfaces.

• Breaks surface tension to increase flow and absorbency

• Minimizes brush marks by reducing friction during application

• Extends open time on non-absorbent surfaces

• Acts as a staining medium on absorbent surfaces like raw canvas

• Best used with water-soluble media such as acrylics, inks, or dyes

• Ideal for watercolour-like effects, soft transitions, and fluid applications

How to Use:

• Always dilute before adding to paint

• Mix 1 part Flow-Aid to 1020 parts distilled water to create Flow-Aid Water

• Mix Flow-Aid Water into acrylic paint as needed do not exceed 25% concentration in paint mixtures

• Use with Liquitex Soft Body Colour for fluid washes and seamless blends
